Last Performance
Kill a Marionette rather than dismissing it with the music box. Winding the box is the safe play — this achievement requires you to commit to the fight instead.

How to unlock: Kill a Marionette
Difficulty: Medium
The Marionette is the encounter the community complains about most, and this achievement asks you to do the opposite of the safe play.
Normally, when the music box spawns — from Night 9 onward — you wind it before the tune finishes (roughly 10–15 seconds) and the Marionette dismisses cleanly, no combat. That's the correct survival play, and it will never give you this achievement. Last Performance requires an actual kill.
- Flamethrower kiting is the safe route. Sustained burn while backing away is slower but far more survivable than trading hits.
- The Shotgun is faster and more dangerous. Chip shots make the fight quicker but put you in its range. Only commit to shotgun range if you're confident you'll finish it — a half-killed Marionette with you out of position is how this goes wrong.
- Decide before the box runs out. Once you've chosen to fight, you've given up the dismissal option for that encounter. Don't start winding the box and then change your mind.
- Bring the fight to open floor. Kiting needs room; a stockroom corner takes away your only advantage.
