How to unlock: Kill a Shrieking Doll
Difficulty: Easy
Shrieking Dolls are the small, crawling, screaming swarm enemies that show up during Hunts. They're weak individually — this achievement is less about difficulty than about not panicking when three come at once.
- One shotgun blast clears a cluster. Dolls spawn in groups and stay bunched, so a single spread shot usually gets all of them.
- Melee works, but time the swing. Dolls dodge. Swinging on reaction gets you a miss and a hit taken; swinging where the Doll is going lands it. The Baseball Bat is enough if you haven't bought a gun yet.
- Don't burn ammo on them. They're the cheapest kill in the game. Save shells for the Marionette and Entity encounters where you need real stopping power.
- Don't get swarmed. The danger isn't one Doll, it's letting the group surround you in a corridor. Back into a doorway so they can only reach you from one side.
