How to unlock: Keep both your Pet and Clyde alive

Difficulty: Story

The best outcome in the game, and the only story achievement that's genuinely difficult — not because of combat, but because of money.

The actual conditions

Two things must both be true:

  1. Don't call Clyde after Shift 12. Calling him routes you to Grave Decision instead.
  2. Have $250 in personal funds by Night 13 to pay for the pet's surgery. Fall short and you get Empty Home.

⚠️ Critical: killing Clyde Dawson (the sheriff) at any point voids all three ending achievements — if he's dead, there's no one to call and the branch never resolves. Several co-op teams have learned this the hard way.

Getting to $250

The economy is the whole challenge. Two things matter most:

  • Pay the $40 pet medicine whenever prompted. Skipping it likely kills the pet early, ending the run before Night 13.
  • Don't sink your funds into the Arsenal. Locked And Loaded competes directly with this achievement for money. Most players do them on separate saves.

On Night 13, pay for the surgery and the ending resolves.
